It rained pretty hard last night so church was not as full today as it was last Sunday. When it is wet and muddy attendance is lower because people don't want to ruin their church shoes and clothes by walking in the mess.
We shared with the team from Eastview about the "Doofus/Filson experience" we had last week so they will know how high the bar has been set. They are up for the challenge and are also now aware of the special relationship our previous team developed with the shopkeeper down the road:)
This afternoon we took the Eastview team to visit Marijo's house that was completed in October and also showed them the Lory Church. After we returned from that visit, we loaded up the team and took them to hotel Mont Jolie with us. The girls enjoy swimming there when we have a break in our work week.
Tomorrow we say goodbye to Jon and Kayte. It will be hard to see them go, we appreciate their willingness to come down and help us during the first part of our stay. When we drop them off, we pick up one of our board members, Dave Doran. The man is a work horse so we know he will help Steve get a lot done this upcoming week.
